My name is Sean, I am 22 years old, about to start studying Environmental Change and Global Sustainability at the University of Helsinki, and I have 3 years of experience as a tutor. Previously, I worked as a tutor at Studybuddy.se while studying environmental engineering, where I mainly assisted with English and Mathematics and provided homework help. I particularly excelled in assisting students studying the International Baccalaureate's Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation Standard Level subject. In addition, I have worked in both English and Swedish during this time. Besides these subjects, I have also assisted with chemistry and biology, though not as frequently. My former students have described me as a calm, patient, and flexible tutor, and I always adjust my teaching style to suit those whom I tutor. Besides my studies, I enjoy playing guitar, and I play in a band too. I am self-taught, but I have also learned the basics of music theory, and concepts such as modes, keys, and harmony are familiar to me. During my time playing in bands, I have also applied what I've learnt into various compositions. I will not call myself a professional, but I am confident in my ability to teach guitar and music theory to beginners.
